JOHANNA KONANZ: Is a young designer born in Guayaquil, Ecuador. She studied footwear, pattern making and accessories design at Polimoda International Institute in Florence, Italy. At school, she learned design, leather manufacturing and finishing processes from experienced professors in the fashion industry. After several years of study and international work experience, Johanna created her own brand “Johanna Konanz”. The brand covers a collection of premium quality exotic skin purses and accessories. These luxury pieces are made from the best crocodile, python and ostrich skins. Johanna gets her inspiration from photo books, old movies and fashion icons such Audrey Hepburn and Jackie Kennedy. She likes to create elegant and refined designs that last through the years. All the skins used by Johanna Konanz are part of a sustainable use program on Columbia, committed to the repopulation of the caiman species.
