BERNIE THOMAS: Bernie Thomas has over fifty years of woodworking experience, both as a hobbyist and a professional. After retiring, he decided to return to woodworking as a hobby. He built a computer desk and bookcase in American black walnut, and then a large armoire, a bed, and night stands. The only facet of woodworking he had never tried was turning, so he bought a lathe and taught himself to use it. The results are exquisite.
