How many times do you pack for a trip – planning every detail to a tee – just to land and be the “one” who is standing there with no luggage?
So, what to do? I have learned to take a well-planned carry-on,  just in case and here are my tips:
Extra underwear- no explanation necessary, make-up, jewelry, toiletries,  a double duty handbag i.e. Roadster Clutch by Anne Sylvain.
And finally, a great scarf! You can be wearing leggings, tee and a baseball cap  on a plane and transform yourself with a fantastic scarf- no one will know you have just slept for 5 hours in that outfit!

Here is my thing… Boy Scouts…. Not the boy… but, The Rule “Always be prepared”!
A tote filled with quick change equipment is a must to go from day to evening without buying new things (anyone can do that). I was going from Matalascanas Beach near Seville, Spain and got caught in a massive traffic jam! No time to go back to the hotel and change and  I’m  meeting friends for dinner at their Caseron.
So, here I am transforming in the car, from my pants and tee shirt to an ersatz ”formal” look.
Sometimes you gotta just roll with it and presto by the skin of my Teeth, estoy lista!
